Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Gypsy Bun on the 29th July, 2020 pursuant to GAR 79A.
A pre-race sample was taken from Graceful Light.
Gypsy Bun was quick to begin. Crackerjack Carr and Why Not Patrick were slow to begin.
Reiko Houdini and Diorite Fire collided approaching the first turn. Graceful Light and Flying Zara collided on the first turn. Reiko Houdini brushed the running rail on the first turn causing Reiko Houdini and Why Not Patrick to collide checking Why Not Patrick who lost ground. Flying Zara and Crackerjack Carr collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.
Why Not Patrick underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left back muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
