Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Your Money underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was detected. Trainer Mr. W. Gray advised Stewards he would give consideration to the greyhound's racing future.

Crumb Snags underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right triangle muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr C. Walmsley, the handler of Crumb Snags, and issued a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.

Hojilla Bale - Late scratching at 6.00pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mrs A. Dailly was fined $100.

Blaviken Bale - Late scratching at 4.21pm when Mrs A. Dailly reported the greyhound to have an injury to the tail (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Fernando Fury and Blazing Xeni collided soon after the start. Zipping Trish and Jafar Bale collided on the first turn. Zipping Trish and Fernando Fury collided approaching the home turn checking Zipping Trish causing Zipping Trish and Death Valley to collide.

Aston Dimple stumbled at box rise and fell as a result.
