Fallen Petal was slow to begin.
Sachi Girl, Sharnee Rose and Jullisa Bale collided soon after the start. Jullisa Bale, Sharnee Rose, Sachi Girl, Knuckle Buster and Dinner Roll collided on the first turn checking Jullisa Bale, Ruby's Rosa, Knuckle Buster and Sharnee Rose severely checking Dinner Roll which Fell and severely checking Sachi Girl. Sachi Girl pull up approaching the home turn.
Dinner Roll underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to both monkey muscles and a right thigh injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed
