Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Goldie's Ridge.
Nadia Bale was quick to begin. Hey There Robbo and What Feeling were slow to begin. Lily Leopard crossed wide approaching the first turn and lost ground. Tinker Caylee and Nadia Bale collided entering the home straight. Tinker Caylee marred Nadia Bale in the home straight checking both greyhounds. Tinker Caylee turned its head outwards approaching the winning post.
Tinker Caylee was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr R. Fisher regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Tinker Caylee was charged with marring. Mr Fisher pleaded guilty to the charge, Tinker Caylee is suspended for 28 days at Geelong only and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards also spoke to Mr Fisher and issued a warning regarding Tinker Caylee's racing manners approaching the first turn.
