Ten's Enough, Barefoot Barry, Lady Fernando and Brain Wave collided soon after the start; checking Lady Fernando and Brain Wave. Barefoot Barry and Ollie collided on the first turn, checking Ollie. Barefoot Barry and Oamaru Bale collided on the home turn. Circumstance and Oamaru Bale collided in the home straight.
Ten's Enough underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to an incident in the catching pen. No stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Ten's Enough - the winner of the event.
Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track in the vicinity of the home turn due to a single light being out. Stewards also spoke to the lure driver prior to this event who was satisfied that this would have no bearing with the positioning of the lure. As a result, Stewards were satisfied the track was satisfactory for racing.
