Moraine Hayley was quick to begin.
Silken and Pepe Power collided in the front straight. Moraine Hayley and Go Commando collided approaching the first turn. Silken, Uyah Ghost and Rev Up Rob collided on the first turn. Pepe Power raced wide on the first turn. Phantom Call and Go Commando collided on the third turn. Silken, Rev Up Rob and Moraine Hayley collided on the third turn; checking Silken and Moraine Hayley. Utah Ghost and Silken collided on the home turn.
Utah Ghost underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left calf. No stand down period was imposed.
