An out of competition sample was taken from Isolating on Tuesday, 16 February 2021.

Basin Betty and Angel Glow were slow to begin.

Collinda Lady and Isolating collided soon after the start.  Nathan Ryder and Basin Betty collided approaching the first turn.  Blue Chandelier and Collinda Lady collided approaching the first turn.  Blue Chandelier, Collinda Lady, Nathan Ryder and Basin Betty collided on the first turn; checking Collinda Lady, Nathan Ryder and Basin Betty.  Blue Chandelier checked off Basin Betty on the first turn.  Collinda Lady checked off Nathan Ryder entering the back straight.  Isolating and Angel Glow collided in the back straight; severely checking Isolating, which pulled up as a result.  Collinda Lady marred Nathan Ryder on the home turn; severely checking Nathan Ryder.

Isolating underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg scapula injury.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Collinda Lady underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left foreleg wrist and monkey muscle injuries.  A seven day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr S Tyler, the handler of Collinda Lady, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Collinda Lacy was charged with marring.  Mr Tyler pleaded guilty to the charge, Collinda Lady was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Midoriyama and Man Of Substance were slow to begin.

Weblec Opal and True Collinda collided soon after the start.  Man Of Substance checked off Christmas Magic soon after the start.  Vertigo Bond and Christmas Magic collided on the first turn; checking Vertigo Bond, Christmas Magic and Weblec Opal.  Weblec Opal raced wide on the second turn.  True Collinda checked off Sneakin' Sally approaching the home turn.

True Collinda underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left elbow.  No stand down period was imposed.

Cousin's Ace and Gladiator Hulk were slow to begin.

Cousin's Ace checked off Galloping Run soon after the start.  Clever Trevor and Turbulence collided on the first turn; checking Turbulence and Dundee Ember.  Galloping Run checked off Dundee Ember on the first turn.  Cousin's Ace, Galloping Run and Turbulence collided on the second turn; checking Cousin's Ace, Galloping Run, Turbulence, Dundee Ember and Gladiator Hulk.  Dundee Ember and Gladiator Hulk collided approaching the home turn; checking both greyhounds.  Gladiator Hulk checked off Dundee Ember in the home straight.

Stewards spoke with Mr. Gerry Orr regarding the timing of scratching  Heaven's Tower in this event. Mr Orr explained the reason's for withdrawing the greyhound, he produced evidence to support these claims and will forward further documentation within the next few days.

Mr J Jarkis requested an early race endorsement for Recapture Time.  The Stewards approved the request after an examination prior to racing by the on-track veterinarian.  Recapture Time will compete in early races until further notice.

All Mayhem and Somerton Rose collided soon after the start, checking All Mayhem.  Double Dipping checked off Moraine Izzy approaching the first turn.  Double Dipping and Somerton Rose collided on the first turn, checking Somerton Rose.  All Mayhem galloped on Double Dipping on the first turn, checking All Mayhem.  Double Dipping checked off Somerton Rose entering the back straight.

Aston Ajok and Sunnyside Pride were slow to begin.
