Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Yozo Bale, Wallbanger, Mepunga Knight, Shima Classic, Jax Bale and Tough Tears on 15 February 2021 and Aussie Secret and Lots Of Chatter on 16 February 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Stewards issued a warning pursuant to GAR 86 (o) for negligence, to Ms Rickii Lee Church, the handler of Shima Classic after placing the incorrect racing rug on the greyhound. The correct racing rug was placed on Shima Classic before the greyhound was scanned out for racing.
Aussie Secret and Mepunga Knight collided soon after the start. Shima Classic and Tough Tears collided soon after the start. Aussie Secret, Mepunga Knight and Jax Bale collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.
A post-race sample was taken from Shima Classic - the winner of the event.
