Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Jim Zarr Dashian, Nevilla Bale, Tinker Craig, Hadouken, La La Missouri and Weblec Ace on 15 February 2021 and Tommy Shelby and Memphis Keeping on 16 February 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.
A pre-race sample was taken from Hadouken.
Jim Zarr Dashian, Nevilla Bale, Tinker Craig and Hadouken collided soon after the start. Tinker Craig, Hadouken and Memphis Keeping collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Nevilla Bale checked off Jim Zarr Dashian on the first turn. Jim Zarr Dashian and Weblec Ace collided on the first turn. Tinker Craig and Memphis Keeping collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.
Memphis Keeping proved awkward to box for the handler. Connections advised that a different handler will handle Memphis Keeping in his future starts. The Stewards were satisfied with this course of action.
A post-race sample was taken from Tommy Shelby - the winner of the event.
