Stewards spoke to Mr. Thomas Boehmke regarding the racing manners of Butterfly Indee in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Boehmke, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

Big City Nights and Mystic Muse collided approaching the first turn and on the first turn. Squeaky Mouse, Big Fuss and Happy Dance collided approaching the home turn severely checking Squeaky Mouse. Janet's Wish and Theatre Of War collided entering the home straight. Happy Dance raced wide entering the home straight and in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Princess Deb.

Fast And Flying and Rock Opera were quick to begin. Mr. Hillbilly and Princess Deb collided approaching the first turn checking Princess Deb. Crown Jimmy and Preconceived collided approaching the first turn. Innocent Gem, Buzz Out and Mr. Hillbilly collided approaching the home turn. Innocent Gem and Fast And Flying collided entering the home straight. Rock Opera visibly eased and turned it's head outwards in the home straight.

Rock Opera underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury and a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Thomas Boehmke, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Rock Opera was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Boehmke pleaded guilty to the charge, Rock Opera was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Shining Ellie, Island Chief and Limburg Special were slow to begin. Two Gears and Birdbrook collided approaching the home turn. Shining Ellie and Island Chief collided on the home turn checking Island Chief. Ruby Arizona and Limburg Special collided on the home turn. Shining Ellie raced wide in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Mega Heist.

Piece Of Heaven and Red Mahogany collided soon after the start checking Red Mahogany. Mega Heist turned it's head outwards on the first turn. One Hombre, Yussuf Bale, Tommy Cawbourne and Flying Miss collided on the first turn checking Tommy Cawbourne and Flying Miss. Mega Heist eased approaching the second turn and collided with Red Mahogany and Piece Of Heaven checking Mega Heist, Red Mahogany and Piece Of Heaven. Mega Heist and Piece Of Heaven collided on the home turn.

Mega Heist underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right thigh injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Malcolm Davis, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Mega Heist was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Davis pleaded guilty to the charge, Mega Heist was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Romeo Lad was slow to begin. Zero To Hero and Valletta Sky collided on the first turn. Upright and Aston Remi collided on the second turn. Upright and Emergency collided on the home turn. Valletta Sky and Upright collided approaching the winning post.

Cullquin Freya was quick to begin. Tiger Blurton and Kamara Bale collided approaching the second turn checking Kamara Bale. Kamara Bale and Dewana Degoey collided on the second turn. Doughnut underwent a post-race veterinary examination and and was found to have cramped. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp) Doughnut must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A sample was taken from Scaramouche upon arrival at the course.

La Senorita Roja underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right quadrIceps injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Iceni Hunter underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Jono's Express underwent a post-race veterinary examination and and was found to have a right quadraceps injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Atlas Shiralee underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist sprain and left monkey muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
