A pre-race sample was taken from Colourful Past.
Colourful Past was quick to begin. Sadie Rose was slow to begin. La Senorita Roja, Sadie Rose and Iceni Hunter collided on the first turn severely checking La Senorita Roja and Iceni Hunter. Scaramouche raced wide entering the home straight.
La Senorita Roja underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right quadrIceps injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Iceni Hunter underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.
