Work Zone, Worms Are Biting and Eaglehawk Miss collided soon after the start. Work Zone, Worms Are Biting and Solar Life collided approaching the first turn. Work Zone checked off Worms Are Biting on the first turn; causing Work Zone, Solar Life and Eaglehawk Miss to collide. Work Zone and Solar Life collided approaching the home turn. Solar Life checked off Aston Select approaching the home turn. Posterior Chain and Aston Select collided in the home straight.
Eaglehawk Miss underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a left hindleg toe fracture and spike wound injuries. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
