All persons attending the venue today carried face-masks, observed social distance requirements and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.
Barefoot Tycoon – In accordance with GAR 73, presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling. Barefoot Tycoon was examined by the on-track veterinarian and found to be free from injury and therefore cleared to race.
Ulyana Bale was slow to begin.
Ranako Bale began awkwardly and collided with Zipping Margo and Weblec Wave, checking Weblec Wave and Ranako Bale and severely checking Zipping Margo. Ranako Bale and Ulyana Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Eric Garfield checked off Inka Bale on the first turn. Flying Viper checked off Inka Bale on the first turn. Weblec Wave and Eric Garfield collided approaching the home turn, checking Eric Garfield. Ranako Bale and Ulyana Bale collided approaching the home turn, checking Ranako Bale. Weblec Wave, Eric Garfield and Ulyana Bale raced wide in the home straight.
Ranako Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
