King Crow – Late scratching at 9:56 am when trainer, Mr Jeffrey Guy reported the greyhound to have a right hind toe injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Buster's Choice and Kandinsky collided on the first turn, checking Buster's Choice.  Kandinksy checked off Jen Jumbo Prawn approaching the home turn.

Ninja Girl Mia was quick to begin.  Giant's Flash was slow to begin.

Giant's Flash underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left and right hindleg triangle injuries.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Garry Harding, the trainer of Giant's Flash regarding its performance on the first turn.  Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Giant's Flash must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Aston Jansz was slow to begin.

Call Me Harvey faltered and lost ground approaching the home turn and in the home straight. 

Call Me Harvey underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race nine.  Call Me Harvey was found to have a right hindleg triangle injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed. In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested connections to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Call Me Harvey in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.

Supplementary Report - 15 May 2021: Trainer Sean Lithgow notified Stewards that Call Me Harvey had been checked by Dr B Backhoy and was found to have a significantly torn triangle mucle and will require a 2-month rehabiltion period.

Aston Attack and Clever Trevor collided on the first turn, checking Clever Trevor.  Brother Soldier checked off Aston Attack entering the home straight.  Aston Attack and Brother Soldier collided approaching the winning post.
