The start was delayed by approximately 3 minutes due to a mechanical issue with the tractor.

Speed Star underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to both back legs and a right hind groin injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Keith Lloyd arrived at the catching pen after the appointed time to catch Forbidden Love.  A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 48.

James Psalia failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Barooga Franky for racing.  A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 46 (2).

Aston Hadley and Suntory Lass were slow to begin.
