All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated building and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.

Forever Words was quick to begin.  Flying Sonic, Urban Legend and Rival Wiggy were slow to begin.  Urban Legend and Rival Wiggy collided soon after the start.  Urban Legend and Rival Wiggy collided approaching the first turn causing both greyhounds to be severely checked and lose ground as a result.  She's Invincible checked off Rich Con approaching the first turn.  Maximum Ivy and She's Invincible collided several times approaching the home turn.

Rival Wiggy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Coconino was quick to begin.  Mt. View Entry, Banjo Jax and Classy Edition were slow to begin.  Miss Coby Moss checked off Duck Duck Dash soon after the start.  Miss Coby Moss crossed to the inside and brushed the running rail approaching the first turn, checking Banjo Jax.  Banjo Jax checked off Classy Edition approaching the first turn.  Mt. View Entry checked off Banjo Jax on the first turn.  Duck Duck Dash checked off Coconino on the first turn.  Mt. View Entry checked off Banjo Jax approaching the home turn.

Miss Coby Moss underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to both hind paws and a spike wound to the left hock.  No stand down period was imposed.

Mt. View Ginger - The frequency of racing was discussed with trainer, Mr T Whitford, his comments were noted.

Killer Miss, Mt. View Moon and Olivia Twist were slow to begin.  Olivia Twist checked off Waikerie Bandit approaching the first turn; severely checking Waikerie Bandit and Killer Miss.  Mt. View Ginger galloped on the heels of Play A Tune entering the home straight.  Play A Tune checked off Waikerie Bandit in the home straight.

Olivia Twist underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right wrist, right hock and spike wound injuries.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Play A Tune underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left hindleg toe abrasions and spike wound injuries.  No stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr N Wynd regarding the racing manners of Play A Tune on the home turn and in the early part of the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr Wynd, viewing the inconclusive video footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued.

Pyrenees Pegasus checked off Windburn approaching the first turn.  Fine Edition checked off Jax Star approaching the first turn.  Pyrenees Pegasus and Innocent Diva collided on the first turn.  Pyrenees Pegasus and Innocent Diva collided approaching the home turn, checking Innocent Diva.  Daph's Echo checked off Fine Edition in the home straight.

Devil's Cartel and Side Splitting were slow to begin.  Devil's Cartel, Kurri Kurri and Side Splitting collided soon after the start; checking all three greyhounds.  Una Star checked off New Samsation approaching the first turn; checking Sports Gairn.  Sports Gairn and Una Star collided on the first turn; severely checking Sports Gairn, which lost considerable ground as a result; in turn checking Stan's Hope.

Sports Gairn underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg spike wound injury.  A three day stand down period was imposed.

Shazbot - New declared weight of 29.0 kg, last raced at 27.0 kg.

Hartland Digger and Shazbot were slow to begin.  Mindful Reality and Sin Rap Blue collided soon after the start.  Pete Cabang, Sin Rap Blue and Mindful Reality collided in the back straight, checking Sin Rap Blue.  Pete Cabang, Mindful Reality and Bad Bailey collided approaching the first turn; checking Pete Cabang, Sin Rap Blue and Bad Bailey.  Hartland Digger and Take A Rose collided approaching the first turn.  Pete Cabang checked off Shazbot on the first turn.  Take A Rose and Hartland Digger collided on the home turn and again in the home straight; checking both greyhounds.  Bad Bailey and Mindful Reality collided approaching the winning post.

Our Girl Bailee was quick to begin.  Lektra Loopy, Zambora Club, Red Taltarni and Quick Income collided approaching the first turn; checking Zambora Club.  Red Taltarni and Lektra Loopy collided on the first turn; checking both greyhounds.

Wolf Shadow and Wow Anna were quick to begin.  Balt's Fantasy went up with the lids.  Wow Anna checked off Balt's Fantasy approaching the home turn.  Wow Anna turned its head out in the home straight and collided with Balt's Fantasy.

Wow Anna underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left hindleg shin soreness and spike wound injuries, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to owner, Mr C Davis regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Wow Anna was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Davis pleaded guilty to the charge, Wow Anna was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Rocky Strike was quick to begin.  Riverdale Tommy, Pyrenees Alpha and Crypto Geek were slow to begin.  He's A Geezer and Crypto Geek collided approaching the first turn.  Dinner Roll, Limburg Special, He's A Geezer and Pyrenees Alpha collided on the first turn; checking Limburg Special, He's A Geezer and Pyrenees Alpha.  Riverdale Tommy checked off Dinner Roll entering the home straight.

Send It Socks was quick to begin.  Riverdale Bear was slow to begin.  Aston Jansz faltered soon after the start and tailed off.  Clark Road and Mt. View Emma collided approaching the first turn; checking Mt. View Emma and Una's Boy.

Aston Jansz underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg monkey muscle injury.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Send It Socks – Stewards were satisfied with the boxing of the greyhound and removed the boxed first endorsement for future events in accordance with GAR 52. 

Chachi Arcola, Zen Mistriss, Hooked On You, Battered Sav and Titanium Lad collided in the back straight; checking Hooked On You, Battered Sav and Titanium Lad.  Chachi Arcola checked off Spring Roll on the first turn, checking Zen Mistress.  Battered Sav checked off Zen Mistress approaching the home turn.  Take A Daisy and Spring Roll raced wide on the home turn.

Battered Sav underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a left hindleg track leg injury.  No stand down period was imposed.
