Steward's Report
Robin's Choice and Stella Rhode were quick to begin.
Aston Estate and Master Avenger collided soon after the start, checking Aston Estate. Knockout Fantasy and Stella Rhode collided on the first turn; checking Stella Rhode and Master Avenger. Stella Rhode and Master Avenger collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn; checking both greyhounds. Aston Estate and Master Avenger collided in the home straight.
Master Avenger underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have lacerations to the right hindleg hock. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr J Borg regarding the racing manners of Master Avenger on the home turn. After hearing evidence from Mr Borg, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.
