Steward's Report
Aston Sylvie was slow to begin. Major Winston and Fargo collided on the first turn. Fargo and Leo Rose collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Aston Toto visibly eased approaching the home turn and collided with Aubameyang.
Aston Toto underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right monkey muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. G. Jose regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Aston Toto was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due committment (by reason of injury). Mr. Jose pleaded guilty to the charge, Aston Toto was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
