Steward's Report
Junkyard Prince and Elusive Barb were slow to begin.
Gunai Lilly (severely checked and lost ground), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Dash Of Crimson underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a spike wound injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Silver Mack, (marred greyhound Dash Of Crimson in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hamstring injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Rodney Clark regarding Silver Mack’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Silver Mack was charged with marring. Mr Clark pleaded guilty to the charge. Silver Mack was suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
