Steward's Report
Will's Bella – Late scratching at 8:29 am due to non–arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr C Baker informed Stewards that he had a vehicle accident. Stewards advised Mr Baker that evidence of the vehicle accident will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.
Hojilla Bale was quick to begin.
Fab Nine and Pyrenees Alpha collided on the first turn. Saint Jett faltered on the first turn and lost ground. Nova To Burn checked off Batman's Dreams approaching the home turn. Nova To Burn raced wide entering the home straight.
Saint Jett underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
