Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Sharnee Rose.
No Payer was slow to begin.
Foreman, Quillan Bale and Jabba Bolt collided soon after the start, checking No Payer. Sharnee Rose galloped on the heels of Tinker Town on the first turn and collided with Quillan Bale; checking Sharnee Rose and Tinker Town; severely Quillan Bale, which fell as a result. Foreman galloped on the heels of Tinker Town on the home turn. No Payer crossed to the outside entering the home straight and collided with Sharnee Rose; checking both greyhounds.
Quillan Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg shoulder muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
