Steward's Report
Track curator Mr T. Godfrey advised that the track was medium harrowed on Tuesday 7th December.
Jarick Bale was quick to begin.
Leroy Deploy, Aston Rabanne, Not Happeneing, Berdeen and Charlie Brother collided soon after the start checking Aston Rabanne, Not Happeneing and Berdeen. Another Easy and Jarick Bale collided on the first turn checking Leroy Bale, Charlie Brother, Nimble Blaze and Not Happening, causing Jarick Bale to fall. Charlie Brother and Nimble Blaze, Leroy Bale and Not Happening collided approaching the second turn checking all four greyhounds. Leroy Deploy checked off Not Happening on the third turn. Charlie Brother and Nimble Blaze collided several times approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.
Jarick Bale underwent a post-race veteriary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left front foot and left hind foot. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Charlie Brother underwnt a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right sesamoid injury. A 7 day stand down pereiod was imposed.
A sample was taken from Another Easy - winner of the event.
Charlie Brother – Stewards were satisfied with the boxing of the greyhound and removed the boxed first endorsement for future events in accordance with GAR 52.
