Hazardous Rumour checked off Eagles Nest Egg on the first turn checking Tiger's Twenty, severely checking Go Twenty Two and Mepunga Missile, causing Mepunga Missile to race wide. Slick Intention and Get Real collided entering the back straight checking Get Real. Hazardous Rumour, Tiger's Twenty and Get Real collided on the third turn severely checking all three greyhounds. Tiger's Twenty and Get Real collided approaching the home turn. Go Twenty Two checked off Tiger's Twenty on the home turn checking Get Real. Slick Intention and Zipping Walter collided approaching the winning post.
