Brother Bearing and Tyler Durden were slow to begin.
McCooly's Lad stumbled at the start and lost ground. Sweet Petit, Ha Ha MacGyver and Brother Bearing collided approaching the first turn checking Ha Ha MacGyver and Brother Bearing. Brother Bearing and McCooly's Lad collided approaching the first turn. Ha Ha MacGyver checked off Tyler Durden on the first turn checking Brother Bearing and McCooly's Lad. Brother Bearing checked off Ha Ha MacGyver on the third turn. Ha Ha MacGyver and McCooly's Lad collided approaching the home turn checking Ha Ha MacGyver. Dr. Rozzie and Hadouken collided approaching the winning post.
Dr. Rozzie underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke Trainer Mr W. McMahon regarding the greyhound's racing manner approaching the winning post. After hearing evidence from Mr McMahon, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued.
