Steward's Report
Zambora Club and Stoikos were slow to begin.
Solar Life, Stoikos and Zipping Stan collided approaching the first turn. Zipping Stan crossed to the outside on the first turn. Zipping Stan raced wide in the home straight. Solar Life and Blackpool Holly collided approaching the winning post.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Victor Millington regarding the racing manners of Solar Life approaching the winning post. After hearing evidence from Mr. Millington, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards were satisfied there was interference between Solar Life and Blackpool Holly approaching the winning post and therefore, no further action taken.
Zipping Stan underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left chest muscle and right flexor tendon. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Jennifer Torr, the representative of Zipping Stan and acting in accordance with GAR 20(3)(v), ordered that a veterinary certificate of clearance must be produced for the greyhound before any future nomination will be accepted
