The traditional 2-wave (odds then evens) boxing process has been re-instated for all races in Victoria from Tuesday 10 November 2020. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times. 

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Sense Of Wonder  – Late scratching at 9:16am when Leland Medcraft reported the greyhound to have a wrist injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ruby Arizona was quick to begin.

Inter Vince and Daph's Wally collided approaching the first turn. Pat's Me Mum and Baileys And Milk collided on the first turn, again on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Inter Vince and Baileys And Milk collided entering the home straight. Joe Baker marred Inter Vince in the home straight. Ruby Arizona, Gordelle Bale and Supercross collided in the home straight checking Gordelle Bale.

Joe Baker underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Kevin Breen, the Trainer of Joe Baker regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Joe Baker was charged with marring.  Mr. Breen pleaded guilty to the charge, Joe Baker was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Always Cousins went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Riverdale Shine was slow to begin.

Riverdale Shine faltered approaching the first turn and subsequently tailed off. Cruyff and Quirky Pheobe collided approaching the first turn. Cruyff checked off Quirky Pheobe on the first turn. Jazzy Arandt checked off Always Cousins on the first turn and again on the home turn. 

Riverdale Shine underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Indy Nevada was quick to begin. Nana Rose was slow to begin. Lea Arandt was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Beach Master and Indy Nevada collided approaching the first turn. Cuteness, Beach Master and Indy Nevada collided approaching the first turn. Beach Master and Litigator collided on the first turn. Beach Master and Indy Nevada collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post. 

Divine Dixie was quick to begin. Sarcasmic was slow to begin. 

Kawhi, Jetta's Shout and Reiko Boss collided approaching the first turn checking Jetta's Shout and Kawhi. Lektra Loopy and Cudgee's Jayne collided on the first turn. Lektra Loopy, Jetta's Shout, Cudgee's Jayne and Devine Dixie raced wide in the home straight. Lock Pepper lost ground in the home straight. 

Lock Pepper underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right triangle and right thigh.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Isotope and Robin's Choice collided soon after the start. Isotope and Running For Juddy collided approaching the first turn. Isotope checked off Robin's Choice on the first turn. Riverdale Tommy checked off Silver Arapaho on the home turn checking Robin's Choice. Isotope and Terka Wye raced wide in the home straight.

Blackpool Pantha and Winlock Winner were quick to begin. Vin Joel and Pete Cabang were slow to begin.

Always There, Tiger's Crest and Young Jebrynah were quick to begin. Cool Story Bro, Midnight Bling and La Senorita Roja collided approaching the first turn severely checking La Senorita Roja which stumbled and tailed off as a result. Uringa faltered on the first turn and subsequently tailed off. King Brown Trav checked off Cool Story Bro approaching the home turn.

La Senorita Roja underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Uringa underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Nathan Hunt, the representative of Uringa and acting in accordance with GAR 20(3)(v), ordered that a veterinary certificate of clearance must be produced for the greyhound before any future nomination will be accepted

Stewards spoke to the Parade Steward and remined him of his responsibilities after he presented the greyhounds at the boxes for this event four minutes prior the advertised starting time. 

Zambora Club and Stoikos were slow to begin.

Solar Life, Stoikos and Zipping Stan collided approaching the first turn. Zipping Stan crossed to the outside on the first turn. Zipping Stan raced wide in the home straight. Solar Life and Blackpool Holly collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Victor Millington regarding the racing manners of Solar Life approaching the winning post.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Millington, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards were satisfied there was interference between Solar Life and Blackpool Holly approaching the winning post and therefore, no further action taken.

Zipping Stan underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left chest muscle and right flexor tendon.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Jennifer Torr, the representative of Zipping Stan and acting in accordance with GAR 20(3)(v), ordered that a veterinary certificate of clearance must be produced for the greyhound before any future nomination will be accepted
