Steward's Report
Queen Avenger – Late scratching at 12:03pm when Mr. George Borg reported the greyhound to be vomitting (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Warrego Storm – Stewards were satisfied with the boxing of the greyhound and removed the boxed first endorsement for future events, in accordance with GAR 106.
Kalinya and Come On Mango were quick to begin. Mayan Chief was slow to begin.
Ruxton Girl (severely checked and lost ground from the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right chest muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
