The traditional 2-wave (odds then evens) boxing process has been re-instated for all races in Victoria from Tuesday 10 November 2020. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times. 

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Rip Off Roslyn was slow to begin.  Betty's Dream and Senior Sanchez collided approaching the first turn.  Miss Somerton was checked off Langfield Bale on the home turn.  Rip Off Roslyn raced wide in the home straight.

Raja Bale was slow to begin.  Neo Cleo Us and Galloping Run collided soon after the start.  Taylor's Jewel crossed to the outside approaching the home turn and faltered, causing Galloping Run to race wide; Taylor's Jewel lost considerable ground. Taylor's Jewel and Galloping Run collided entering the home straight checking Taylor's Jewel. Taylor's Jewel checked off Galloping Run in the home straight and stumbled. 

Taylor's Jewel underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right deltoid muscle.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race blood sample was taken from Raja Bale - winner of the event.

Reiko Bolt was slow to begin.  Double Breeze, Zipping Aubry, Blazing Lizzie and Reiko Bolt collided approaching the first turn.  Double Breeze and Thirsty Work collided on the first turn.  Double Breeze contacted the running rail approaching the home turn.  Thirsty Work was checked off She's Our Rocket on the home turn.  Thirsty Work and Aston Hackett collided approaching the winning post.

Double Breeze underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to the right thigh and a spike wound on the right metatarsal.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Whisky Hans was slow to begin.  Smarty Pants, Star Night and Mia's Hand collided approaching the first turn checking Star Night.  Star Night, Scraping Paint and Whisky Hans collided on the first turn. Smarty Pants was checked off Whisky Hans on the home turn severely checking Smarty Pants. Smarty Pants and Star Night collided entering the home straight.

A post-race blood sample was taken from Bound To Succeed -  winner of the event. 

Retro Rocket was slow to begin.  Reality Luxe, Don't Get Lippy and Magic Voyage collided soon after the start.  Fractured was checked off Reiko Live Wire on the first turn.  Fractured and Reality Luxe collided entering the home straight.  Zipping Malibu and Retro Rocket collided in the home straight.

Tech Stock was checked off Rafael Fever approaching the first turn.  Tech Stock and Mclinden collided on the first turn checking Tech Stock.  Weeona Pete and Dundee Jester collided approaching the home turn.

Opal Beach – Late scratching at 11.03am when trainer, Mr John Jarkis reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Podium and Paua Of Oscar collided soon after the start.  Tickle My Fancy was checked off Top Faith entering the home straight causing Tickle My Fancy to cross out.  Tickle My Fancy raced wide in the home straight.  Tickle My Fancy faltered approaching the winning post.

Tickle My Fancy underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured left hock and an injured left flexor tendon.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Walter crossed in soon after the start checking Busy Bella and Aston Bintang.  Trance contacted the running rail approaching the first turn.  Weeona Bulldozer and Flying Fifi collided approaching the first turn 

Trance underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right deltoid muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

My Faith and Mod Squad were slow to begin.  Speckle McKean and Rocky Pie collided approaching the first turn.  New Jack Swing and Rocky Pie collided approaching the first turn.  Speckle McKean and Just Burning collided on the first turn checking Just Burning and My Faith. Speckie McKean and Mod Squad collided on the home turn.  Mod Squad raced wide in the home straight.

View Audrey.  Zipping Sultan and Twelfth Of Never collided approaching the winning post.

Zipping Bates and Major Minter collided soon after the start.  Eastern Faith and Major Minter collided approaching the first turn.  Katey Penny and Zipping Bates collided approaching the first turn.  Eastern Faith faltered on the first turn and subsequently pulled up.  Chops Malone and Major Minter collided on the home turn.

Eastern Faith underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture. A 60 day stand down period was imposed. 

Satisfactory trial:

Gotham Princess - Failed to chase and blinkers on - Field of 4, Distance 400 metres, Weight 28.2kg, Box 3, Placed fourth, Time Run 23.46 secs.  Cleared all tracks except Bendigo and Geelong and cleared to race in blinkers.
