Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Cool Coyote.
Holy's Pride was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Cool Coyote, Tequila Rocket and Southern Tip collided approaching the first turn checking Cool Coyote and Tequila Rocket. Rare Bear checked off Cool Coyote on the first turn. Young Norman crossed to the outside approaching the home turn checking Lightning Sam, Cool Coyote, Tequila Rocket and Southern Tip. Tammy's Billie and Southern Tip collided approaching the home turn. Lightning Sam checked off Tammy's Billie on the home turn. Young Norman, Lightning Sam and Tequila Rocket raced wide entering the home straight. Tequila Rocket raced wide in the home straight. Rare Bear and Holy's Pride collided approaching the winning post.
Tammy's Billie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left back muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
