Clay Bird and Dyna Yenite were slow to begin. Dyna Deeksey and Mermaid Princess collided soon after the start. Question Bale crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Desire Smurfette. Dyna Deeksey and Desire Smurfette collided on the first turn. Mermaid Princess, Siilver Brodie and Clay Bird collided on the first turn. Question Bale and Lady Goldenpaw collided approaching the second turn checking Lady Goldenpaw. Dyna Deeksey checked off Clay Bird on the second turn. Mermaid Princess checked off Clay Bird entering the back straight.
