Real Impact was slow to begin. Stealthy Dancer and Stutter collided soon after the start. Bazza's Gift and Crackerjack Babe collided approaching the first turn. Awesome Project and Stutter collided on the first turn. Bazza's Gift and Crackerjack Babe collided on the first turn causing Crackerjack Babe and Supersonic Hawk to race wide. Stealthy Dancer and Allen Orville collided on the second turn. Real Impact brushed the running rail approaching the third turn. Real Impact checked off Crackerjack Babe on the third turn.
