Steward's Report
Cool Rod and Cathy's Queen were quick to begin. Osiris and Dublin Dee collided approaching the first turn. Patchiara checked off Miss Lorena on the first turn.
Lovely Nigella was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left metatarsal injury; a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Dipsy Daisy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey injury; a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Patchiara was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hind toe injury and a left monkey muscle injury; a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to the trainer Of Patchiara Mr Shane Jack reagrding the greyhounds racing manner over the concluding stages of this event, after taking into consideration the greyound was having its first race start and the injuries sustained during the event Stewards deemed the performance of Patchiara unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Patchiara must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
