Conclusion of Stewards Inquiry from Traralgon Greyhound Racing Club meeting - Monday 21 April 2014 -Race 4 Grade 5
Stewards this evening concluded an inquiry in the circumstances surrounding the non presentation of the greyhound Noaki Swallow at the Traralgon meeting. Evidence was taken via telephone from the trainer Mr Martin Baldock who was unable to attend due to work commitments. After hearing Mr Martin Baldock's explanation and taking into consideration the evidence previously taken from Mr William Baldock the owner of the greyhound Noaki Swallow at Traralgon on the day of the meeting, Stewards Charged Mr Martin Baldock under GAR 86(o) in that he negligently failed to ensure the greyhound Noaki Swallow was presented to race at Traralgon GRC meeting on 21/4/2014. Mr M Baldock pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined the sum of $250.00.
Supplementry Report Sale 20 April 2014 Race 12:
Betty Armagh was vetted at tonights meeting, it was reported the greyhound sustained a right triangle muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Trainer Mr Peter Mullen was issued with a warning in relation to leaving the course without first gaining Stewards Permission.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Travlouliza and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 6:10pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer C. Morris was fined the sum of $100.
Arvo's Maya and Sick Money were slow to begin. Cool And Amazing galloped on the heels of Tequila's Hope on the first turn checking Secret Marjen and severely checking Secret Marjen and Tequila's Hope causing Secret Marjen and Sick Money to race wide.
