A pre-race sample was taken from Go The Doves.
Jolly Jiggs and Lady Loch collided soon after the start. Lady Loch galloped on Sweet Chanelle on the first turn severely checking Poppo's Legacy. Go The Doves crossed out on the first turn and collided with Cayden Bale and His Stop It, His Stop It fell as a result. Cayden Bale and Poppo's Legacy collided on the first turn. Jolly Jiggs checked off Lady Loch on the first turn. Jolly Jiggs and Go The Doves collided approaching the home turn. Jolly Jiggs tired in the home straight. Go The Doves and Sweet Chanelle collided approaching the winning post.
His Stop It underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right thigh muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Jolly Jiggs underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury, abrasions to the right and left hind legs. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke with Mr. John Bosnich, the trainer in relation to the recent racing performances and subsequent veterinary findings of Jolly Jiggs. Acting in accordance with GAR 20 (3) (v), a veterinary certificate has been ordered by Stewards, before any further nominations are accepted.
