Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 &6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Pretty More and Hubcap Thief collided approaching the first turn.  Hubcap Thief checked off Pretty More on the first turn.  Honey Double One and Light It Up collided entering the home straight.  Light It Up galloped on Hubcap Thief approaching the winning post. 

Hurricane Star and Totally Bella collided soon after the start.  Jordy's Express, Ando's Milley and Big Tango collided approaching the first turn checking Jordy's Express, Hurricane Star and severely checking Big Tango.  Hurricane Star crossed out on the home turn checking Jordy's Express.  Jordy's Express raced wide in the home straight.  

Bomber's Train was slow to begin.

Walk With Grace and Celtic Gypsy collided soon after the start.  Captain Goldie, Bomber's Train and Mt. View Nancy collided on the first turn severely checking all three greyhounds.  Klimenko checked off Love A Collision on the home turn.  Walk With Grace and Celtic Gypsy collided entering the home straight severely checking Walk With Grace, Celtic Gypsy and Hurricane Miami.  Klimenko and Celtic Gypsy collided in the home straight checking Celtic Gypsy and Walk With Grace.  Love A Collision raced wide in the home straight.

Jolly Jiggs and Lady Loch collided soon after the start.  Lady Loch galloped on Sweet Chanelle on the first turn severely checking Poppo's Legacy.  Go The Doves crossed out on the first turn and collided with Cayden Bale and His Stop It, His Stop It fell as a result.  Cayden Bale and Poppo's Legacy collided on the first turn.  Jolly Jiggs checked off Lady Loch on the first turn.  Jolly Jiggs and Go The Doves collided approaching the home turn. His Stop It underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right thigh muscle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Jolly Jiggs underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury, abrasions to the right and left hind legs.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke with Mr. John Bosnich, the trainer in relation to the recent racing performances and subsequent veterinary findings of Jolly Jiggs.  Acting in accordance with GAR 20 (3) (v), a veterinary certificate has been ordered by Stewards, before any further nominations are accepted.

Pine Gem and Fallen Petal collided soon after the start.  Cute Patootie, Sweet Hostility and Busy Izzy collided soon after the start.  Magic Voyage and Pine Gem collided on the first turn.  Heeza Nippa and Fallen Petal collided on the first turn.  

A post-race sample was taken from Pine Gem - the winner of the event.

True Alpha – New declared weight of 34.4kg, last raced at 33.2kg.

Mac's Mayhem was slow to begin.

Take A Daisy checked off Aston Rum on the first turn checking Mac's Mayhem.  Bomber's Wonder and True Alpha collided approaching the home turn.  Take A Daisy and True Alpha collided in the home straight.  Bomber's Wonder and Mac's Mayhem collided approaching the winning post.

Five Sisters was slow to begin.

Mister Wingard and Weeona Polly collided on the first turn.  Five Sisters chekced off Mister Wingard on the home turn.  

Maximum Trina and Mighty Matilda soon after the start.  My Attitude and Inter Lana collided on the first turn checking Mighty Matilda.  Inter Lana and Done Time collided approaching the home turn.  Maximum Trina galloped on Done Time approaching the home turn.  Airly Spence turned its head outwards entering the home straight.  My Attitude and Airly Spence collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.  

Maximum Trina underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right tarsal sprain.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Airly Spence underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. Lesley Russell, the representative of Airly Spence regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Airly Spence was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mrs. Russell pleaded guilty to the charge, Airly Spence was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A(2)(a) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Tiny Shiny, Banjo Plato and Parumba Barcia were slow to begin.

Banjo Plato crossed in soon after the start.  Tiny Shiny checked off Banjo Plato approaching the first turn.  Lennie's Flyer, Buddy Goes Bang and Banjo Plato collided on the first turn checking Lennie's Flyer.  Sally's Pride and Crouching Tiger raced wide in the home straight.  Lennie's Flyer, Buddy Goes Bang and Parumba Barcia collided approaching the winning post.
