My Girl Kizzy, Molly Blazer and Weblec Whirl collided soon after the start, checking Molly Blazer. Weblec Whirl and Gypsy Bun collided on the first turn; checking Weblec Whirl and My Girl Kizzy. Enicka Bale checked off Don't Argue Love approaching the home turn. Gypsy Zelda, Molly Blazer and Enicka Bale collided in the home straight; causing Molly Blazer to fall, checking My Girl Kizzy.
Molly Blazer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg monkey muscle and thoraco-lumbar injuries. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
