Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID–19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4–wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore facemasks/covers that in–turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race–day functions and operations.

She's So Amazing checked off Zipping Aubry soon after the start.  Our Watto checked off She's So Amazing approaching the first turn.  Our Watto, She's So Amazing and Spearhead Joe collided on the first turn.  Crackerjack Zave checked off Zipping Aubry on the first turn.  She's So Amazing checked off Assume Kealy approaching the home turn.  Crackerjack Zave and Two Face collided on the home turn, checking Two Face.  Assume Kealy contacted the running rail on the home turn and lost ground.  Two Face and Assume Kealy collided entering the home straight.  Assume Kealy, Two Face and She's So Amazing collided in the home straight, checking Two Face.

A post-race sample was taken from Zipping Aubry - the winner of the event.

Go Wheels, Zipping Valerie and Alvira were quick to begin.

Go Wheels and Zipping Valerie collided soon after the start.  Mepunga Val, Tiggerlong Bundy and Blow Me Kisses collided approaching the first turn, checking all three greyhounds.  Tiggerlong Bundy galloped on Blow Me Kisses on the first turn, checking Tiggerlong Bundy and severely checking Blow Me Kisses.  Mepunga Val, Alvira and Fernando Fury collided entering the home straight.

Blow Me Kisses underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

A sample was taken from Indigo Indy upon arrival at the course.

Rivia Bale and Princess Barcia were quick to begin.

Just Cruising checked off Kazoo approaching the first turn.  Kazoo checked off White Assassin on the first turn.  Zanfrey Bale and White Assassin collided in the home straight.  Zanfrey Bale, White Assassin and Princess Barcia collided approaching the winning post.

White Assassin underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left hindleg pencil/whip and right hindleg triangle injuries.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr W Kee regarding the racing manners of White Assassin in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr Kee, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

A sample was taken from Armour Bale upon arrival at the course.

The announcement of the All Clear was delayed to allow the Stewards to review the race footage after a bird (plover) was positioned on the track in the front straight shortly after the start and alighted as the greyhounds approached. After viewing the footage and acting on their own observations, the Stewards were entirely satisfied that no greyhounds were materially affected by the incident and the All Clear was posted.

Mr. Attitude blundered soon after the start and lost ground.  Wonderful World checked off Ultra Lightbeam approaching the first turn.  Crackerjack Pack and Mepunga Knight collided approaching the first turn, checking Mepunga Knight.  Debbie's Destiny checked off Wonderful World on the first turn.  Crackerjack Pack and Lochinvar Deus collided entering the home straight.

Mr. Fix It, Just A Giggle, Drumroll Please and Perfect Colour collided approaching the first turn, checking Just A Giggle and Drumroll Please.  Perfect Colour checked off Super Zoom Jake on the first turn.  Who Back There checked off Drumroll Please on the first turn, checking Twin Pick.  Drumroll Please checked off Perfect Colour approaching the home turn.  Just A Giggle raced wide on the home turn.

In accordance with LR 22 Mr Ricky Coleman was issued with a warning regarding non-compliance with the GRV Dress Code.

My Girl Kizzy, Molly Blazer and Weblec Whirl collided soon after the start, checking Molly Blazer.  Weblec Whirl and Gypsy Bun collided on the first turn; checking Weblec Whirl and My Girl Kizzy.  Enicka Bale checked off Don't Argue Love approaching the home turn.  Gypsy Zelda, Molly Blazer and Enicka Bale collided in the home straight; causing Molly Blazer to fall, checking My Girl Kizzy.

Molly Blazer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg monkey muscle and thoraco-lumbar injuries.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Max Jet underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
