Steward's Report
Weblec Bloom and Alabama Anna were slow to begin.
Weblec Bloom and Aston Odyssey collided approaching the first turn. Eagles Nest Egg clipped the heels of Mr. Fix It approaching the home turn. Aston Odyssey and Miss Ali collided on the home turn. Mr. Fit It raced wide on the home turn. Tan Back Tan marred Aston Odyssey in the home straight.
Tan Back Tan underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Bartlett, the representative of Tan Back Tan regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Tan Back Tan was charged with marring. Mr Bartlett pleaded guilty to the charge, Tan Back Tan is suspended for 12 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(c) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards issued a warning to handler Ms L.Courts after she was late in arriving at the kennels to prepare Mr.Fix It for its engagement.(GAR 46 (2))
