A pre-race sample was taken from Mr. Neo.
Hazy's Girl was slow to begin. Hazy's Girl and Terzo Millennio collided soon after the start. Hazy's Girl was checked off Terzo Millennio approaching the first turn. Agent Piper galloped on Barrabooka approaching the first turn checking Barrabooka which contacted the running rail and lost ground. Terzo Millennio galloped on Barrabooka on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Barrabooka and Terzo Millennio collided approaching the winning post.
Barrabooka underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion on the left metatarsals. No stand down period was imposed.
