A sample was taken from Walk With Grace upon arrival at the course.
Marley's Rage was slow to begin.
Meehan Marlow and Bella Chic collided approaching the first turn. Jullisa Bale clipped the heels of Meehan Marlow on the first turn severely checking Jullisa Bale which fell as a result. Bella Chic galloped on Miss Tickle approaching the home turn checking Walk With Grace, severely checking Bella Chic and Miss Tickle, Bella Chic fell as a result. Marley's Rage and Meehan Marlow collided on the home turn. Walk With Grace checked off Meehan Marlow in the home straight.
Bella Chic underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
