Steward's Report
Hornet Hudson was slow to begin.
Hornet Hudson lost ground soon after the start and pulled up. Flame Slinger and All Inn Redman collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Flame Slinger and Paddy Lee collided in the home straight.
Hornet Hudson underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock injury. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed. Stewards spoke to handler Mr. T. Boehmke, regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Hornet Hudson was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Boehmke pleaded guilty to the charge, Hornet Hudson must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
