Steward's Report
Stewards, in consultation with Sky Channel, amended the starting time for this Event to 7.28pm (in lieu of 7.24pm) to ensure there was sufficient time to meet operational requirements.
Enid's Angel - Late scratching at 4:29pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a right hindleg hock injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Fried White Bait and Dental Plan were slow to begin.
Dental Plan crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Jump The Bar and Dashing Daph. Jump The Bar, Dashing Daph and Maximum Rhonda collided approaching the first turn, checking Jump The Bar. Dashing Daph and Maximum Rhonda collided approaching the home turn.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. L. Kenyon after no catcher was engaged for Flying Zara in this event. After taking evidence from Mr Kenyon and licensed Catcher - Ms. J. Ploeger, Stewards issued Mr. Kenyon with a warning under GAR 86 (o) for negligently failing to ensure a Catcher was engaged for Flying Zara in this event.
