Through The Dark – Late scratching at 4.30pm due to non-arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr. W Kee informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on-route to the track. Stewards have advised Mr. Kee that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non-arrival. The matter will be re-evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.

Vampire Vixen went up with the lids and lost ground.  Lady Kin Lee and Diorite Fire collided on the first turn, checking Lady Kin Lee. 

Aston Shadow was slow to begin. 

Say Hi, Pirates Patch, Horizon Princess and Handsome collided soon after the start, checking Say Hi, Pirates Patch and Horizon Princess.  Crackerjack Daza checked off Regal Missile approaching the first turn, also checking Say Hi.  Aston Shadow checked off Say Hi on the first turn.

Stewards, in consultation with Sky Channel, amended the starting time for this Event to 7.28pm (in lieu of 7.24pm) to ensure there was sufficient time to meet operational requirements.

Enid's Angel - Late scratching at 4:29pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a right hindleg hock injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Fried White Bait and Dental Plan were slow to begin. 

Dental Plan crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Jump The Bar and Dashing Daph.  Jump The Bar, Dashing Daph and Maximum Rhonda collided approaching the first turn, checking Jump The Bar.  Dashing Daph and Maximum Rhonda collided approaching the home turn. 

Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. L. Kenyon after no catcher was engaged for Flying Zara in this event. After taking evidence from Mr Kenyon and licensed Catcher - Ms. J. Ploeger, Stewards issued Mr. Kenyon with a warning under GAR 86 (o) for negligently failing to ensure a Catcher was engaged for Flying Zara in this event.

Sole Elusion was slow to begin. 

Young Jebrynah, Graphic Print, Saintly Jack and Blackpool Marvel collided on the first turn, checking Young Jebrynah and Graphic Print.  Sole Elusion galloped on the heels of Saintly Jack approaching the home turn severely checking Sole Elusion which caused Saintly Jack to fall and also checking Habib.  Graphic Print and Kentucky Sun collided approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds and causing both greyounds to race wide.  

Sole Elusion underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abraisions right dew claw and left radius area and a left hindleg tarsal sprain. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Saintly Jack underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abraisions to the right hock, right wrist  and right metacarpal. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Curiouser.

Superior Uno, Blackpool Pantha and Cawbourne Mimma collided on the first turn.  Everything I Do and Curiouser collided on the first turn.
