Emma Banjo – Late scratching at 8.41pm on 22 April 2020 when Mr R. Cunneen reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Black Mintie – Late scratching at 7.58am when Mr R. Cunneen reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Smooth Talker and Madalia Daisy were slow to begin.
Phoenix Drive, Untested, Crystal Kiss and Awesome Shae collided on the first turn checking Crystal Kiss and Madalia Daisy causing Awesome Shae and Phoenix Drive to fall. Untested raced wide on the home turn.
Awesome Shae underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle and right monkey muscle injuries. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Phoenix Drive underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a radius/ulna fracture. Phoenix Drive was humanely euthanized.
