Oriental Gale checked off Manila Mist soon after the start.
Manila Mist and Blazing Zeal collided on the first turn checking Blazing Zeal.
Blazing Zeal turned its head inwards approaching the winning post.
Blazing Zeal underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Miss B Kinder, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Blazing Zeal was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Miss Kinder pleaded guilty to the charge, Blazing Zeal must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
