Bashful Boy, Pontiac Icon and Talented collided soon after the start checking Pontiac Icon. Bashful Boy and Talented collided on the first turn.
Bashful Boy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right shoulder injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Following this event Stewards dispensed with the GRV Heat Policy as the outside temperature was 24.8 degrees.
