Abalone Fozz – New declared weight of 26.6kg, last raced at 25.0kg.
A pre-race sample was taken from Kiewa River Run.
Bethpage was quick to begin. Mountain was slow to begin. All Inn Evie, Iles Inn and Kiewa River Run collided approaching the first turn. Iles Inn and Keiwa River Run collided on the first turn. All Inn Evie and Still Quick collided approaching the home turn checking All Inn Evie. Iles Inn clipped the heels of All Inn Evie approaching the home turn checking Iles Inn. All Inn Evie and Kiewa River Run collided on the home turn. Mountain and Abalone Fozz collided approaching the winning post checking Abalone Fozz.
Abalone Fozz underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
