Zipping Cisco was slow to begin. Aston Eureka, Defendant and Chill Out Pedro collided soon after the start and approaching the first turn checking Aston Eureka and Defendant. Chill Out Pedro, Last Night and Zipping Cisco collided approaching the home turn checking Last Night. Last Night and Zipping Cisco collided on the home turn. Chill Out Pedro clipped the heels of Zipping Cisco in the home straight colliding with Chill Out Pedro. Aston Eureka raced wide in the home straight.
Last Night underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
