Get Me was quick to begin. Southwood Flame was slow to begin.
Riverside Billie and Rusty Peg collided soon after the start. Live Wire, Riverside BIllie and Rusty Peg collided approaching the first turn. Notso Funny checked off Get Me approaching the first turn. Riverside Billie and Rusty Peg collided on the first turn checking Riverside Billie. Rusty Peg checked off Live Wire on the first turn. Get Me veered out and marred the running of Water Bag on the home turn. Rusty Peg checked off Live Wire on the home turn. Rusty Peg checked off Mr. Jachary on the home turn. Water Bag crossed to the rail approaching the winning post checking Southwood Flame and Rusty Peg.
Get Me was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Stewards spoke to Mr. G.Hammerstein the trainer of the greyhound Get Me. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Get Me with marring and suspended the greyhound for 3 months (all tracks) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.
