Steward's Report
Aston Rumba, Ocean Sharni and Neighbours Alarm were quick to begin. Crackerjack Reed and Whipping Along were slow to begin.
Whipping Along (severely checked and fell turning off the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle and shoulder joint injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Mr Glenn Petrie was issued with a warning for failing to follow the Starter's orders when boxing Ocean Sharni, pursuant to GAR 105.
A post–race urine sample was taken from Ocean Sharni – the winner of the event.
